Horse1Asia is an English translation of my Chinese name. It became the name of my website and domain because I thought no one would in their right mind choose such a ridiculous title.
The website has evolved over the years from showing off a portfolio of my photographic work to blogging about UX and web standards now.
UX and web standards are two areas I’m very passionate about now because of my new career focus in 2010.
Peter Mah is an interaction designer and Horse1Asia is part of his efforts to learn and share information about UX and Web Standards. The website was started while he was overseas in Taiwan and has evolved from a portfolio showcase of his photographic work to its current focus on making the web easier for users.
As support for HTML5 in browsers grows, it is still not standard. Thus the website may not display properly. It’s interesting to have a website focused on standards, but built with non-standard HTML5.
